Sex in a public place: right or wrong?

Has it ever occurred to you to have sex in public or is it something you have done? This is something not restricted to an age range, surprisingly, persons from any age group have considered sometime: the college teacher who has sex in the back of the school, the taxi driver and his partner in his taxi, an over ambitious man having a go in a stadium after a football match. These are possible scenarios where and they happen all around us. When you think of the appeal of public sex, the first thing that comes to mind is the thrill of getting caught, the excitement of giving in your passion with recourse to the rules of decency or just simple convenience.

There is another reason for some persons choosing to have sex in public. Some experts say it is the chemistry of the brain. Dopamine, a hormone, released by the brain affects desire and increases arousal in people.

No matter how fun and satisfying your sex life with your best girl is, there’s something exhilarating about throwing a little danger into your routine. While you might have considered or fantasized about getting it on in your office or hidden away in a side alley on your way home from work, if you really want to take up the ante, it’s important to be strategic about where you decide to go for it. Here are some places where public sex takes happen. It is not restricted to these by the way.

  • In the Water
  • In Your Apartment or Hotel With the Windows Open
  • In a Private Restaurant or Bar Bathroom
  • In the Movie Theater
  • In a Parked Car
  • On an Airplane
  • The Back of a Taxi or Rideshare
  • In a Park at Nighttime
  • The Changing Room
  • Hiking the Trails

Public sex: right or wrong

It is within the right to express them but this has to be within the guidance of the law. Therefore, the ‘wrongness’ or ‘rightness’ of having sex in a public space, is defined by the laws guiding the city or country where you reside. Also, the law defines what is meant by public sex and when an offence has been committed.

The legal implications of public sex

In most places, the laws that criminalize public sex make it a misdemeanor crime. Some laws explicitly criminalize public sexual activity. Other laws are broader and cover a variety of indecent or lewd conduct. Some cities or countries categorize public sex in the following ways

Indecent Exposure

Exposure of one’s intimate parts, which usually include genitalia and women’s breasts, is considered indecent exposure and is a misdemeanor crime. Because genitalia or breasts may be exposed during public sex, those caught in the act are often charged with indecent exposure. However, some couples are adept at having sex while still concealing their nether bits. Even if you are careful to avoid exposure during sex in public, you may still be charged with other crimes.

Lewd Act

Public “lewd act,” including sexual acts, is a misdemeanor crime. Lewd acts are typically defined by the standards of the state in which they are enacted. States with laws that criminalize lewd acts often define lewd acts so that it is no defense that the parties were clothed. This covers those who are able to have “discreet public sex.”

Conclusion

Can you honestly look your partner in the eyes and say you’ve never thought about having sex in a public place? You, like the rest of the world, probably have an exhibitionist streak somewhere playing inside—or curiosity at the least.

Having sex in a public place feels forbidden and the chance of getting caught with your hands dirty gets adrenaline pumping. Plus, if you’re in a long-term relationship, going at it in the wild can spice things up, especially if you feel your sex life has plateaued lately, Engle says. You’ll get creative—just think about all the scheming and on-the-fly thinking—and bring those vibes back behind closed doors. Being sexually open and adventurous is awesome, but you also need to be a decent and respectful person, so you need to find the right blurry line between public and still private.

There’s also the very real chance of getting arrested or fined if you’re caught. The thought of getting busted is the hottest part…but you don’t have to take that literally to get off. But back to the fun stuff. Here are some of the best and most, uh, rewarding places to have sex in public—without getting caught.
